Well Congratulations to Kirk.

I retired 7 years ago after 35 years working for the city. What a ride that was. Several years later I was getting bored and started thinking about something part-time to keep me busy. Then, it hit me. After that many years of working with the public, I figured it may be more than I could bear. Resume? Dude, I worked at the same place 35 years, zero disciplinary actions on my record (then again, I didn't get caught either). No record of being tardy, etc. Totally clean record. Working with the public can be challenging to say the least at times. I figure if I had gone back to work, the first time the boss/owner raised their voice to me...they can get my check now, or tomorrow, but you need someone right now...I just quit. Anyway, enough about that. Again, CONGRATULATIONS!

Hope I can catch up with you next time I'm up north. It's been far too long.
